Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data from the SalonAssist chatbot and associated systems operated by SHPS SHUGARINGI TKBILI EPILATSIA ("Shugaring").
You can request deletion of your data using either of the two methods described below. Both methods are free of charge and will be processed within 30 days, though most requests are processed within 24-48 hours.
What will be deleted
When you request deletion, we will remove the following data associated with your Messenger or Instagram profile:
- Your conversation history (all messages exchanged with the chatbot and operators)
- Your contact information (phone number, name)
- Your Meta Page-Scoped ID (PSID) and associated identifiers
- Any data we have received from your Meta profile (name, gender, locale)
What may be retained
To comply with Georgian tax legislation, we may retain records of completed bookings in anonymized form for up to 6 years. This means:
- Your name and phone number will be removed from booking records
- The service name, date, price, and other non-identifying information may be kept for accounting purposes
- These anonymized records cannot be linked back to you
Deletion methods
1Through Facebook settings (fastest)
If you want to remove our app's access to your Facebook profile and delete all your data in one step:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
- Select Apps and Websites from the left menu
- Find SalonAssist Bot in the list of active apps
- Click Remove
- Confirm removal
Facebook will automatically notify us of your request. We will delete your data and provide Facebook with a confirmation code, which you can use to track the status of your request in Facebook's Apps settings.
Processing time: within 30 days (typically within 24 hours)
2By email
If you cannot access Facebook, or if you want a written record of your request, send an email to:

Please include the following information in your email:
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request
- The name shown on your Messenger or Instagram profile
- Your phone number (if you have shared it with the chatbot)
- Approximate date of your most recent interaction with the chatbot
We will verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion requests, then process your request and confirm completion by email.

What happens after deletion
Once your data is deleted:
- If you send a new message to our chatbot, you will be treated as a new user with no conversation history
- Any bookings you made previously will remain on our booking system (Altegio), but without your identifiable contact information
- SMS notifications you received in the past cannot be recalled; future SMS will not be sent unless you initiate a new booking
Data held by third parties
We share limited data with third-party service providers (see our Privacy Policy for details). Deletion from our systems does not automatically delete data held by these third parties. To delete data held by each provider, please contact them directly:
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram): Facebook help center
- Altegio: contact Altegio support through their platform
- Google (Gemini AI): conversation content is processed transiently and typically not retained by Google for business API usage; see Google's privacy policy
